The first book about wine that I read was Alice Feiring’s »For the Love of Wine – My Odyssey Through the World’s Most Ancient Wine Culture«, her account of travelling through Georgia. I read it on the very train that I took to meet, for the very first time, Thomas (Puéchavy), in September 2020. During my stay in Amboise I read my second book about wine, Nicolas Joly’s »What Is Biodynamic Wine? The Quality, the Taste, the Terroir« because I had had one of his wines a few weeks earlier, on my birthday, at the Berlin-based restaurant Tulus Lotrek.
